El Salvador? Yes! With Food Export Buyers Missions

by Food Export | Jul 11, 2016
In June 2015, New Composite Partners, located in Edgerton, Wisconsin, participated in the Value-Added Feed Ingredients Buyers Mission during the World Pork Expo in Iowa. New Composite has been trailing the Food Export path for some time.

The Value-Added Feed Ingredients Buyers Mission is a perfect low cost opportunity to meet one-on-one with highly qualified buyers from around the world in one place. As a result of the 2015 Buyers Mission, New Composite Partners was able to get new contacts in El Salvador, Mexico, China, Brazil and Korea. With El Salvador the relationship has resulted in $24,000 in export sales!

“Food Export’s Buyers Missions have to be one of the easiest ways to meet qualified, knowledgeable buyers without having to travel out of the United States,” says Ron Hagemann of New Composite Partners. In addition to attending many Buyers Missions in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, Mr. Hagemann has utilized many services that Food Export offers, such as the Market Builder and Branded Programs.

New Composite Partners
is a producer of bio-based and recycled products (mostly made from corn and soybean) for various applications in the food and animal feed industries.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
