With 20+ organized events annually, Buyers Missions are Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast’s most popular in-person events because they are a low-cost way to explore exporting your products to new markets without leaving the U.S..

Our Buyers Missions bring together pre-screened, qualified international buyers interested in U.S. products for one-on-one meetings with Midwest and Northeast suppliers so you can:

  • Meet the right people – buyers who are vetted by our In-Market Representatives
  • Learn about your product’s export potential in new markets
  • Build key relationships face-to-face and generate sales leads

Most Buyers Missions take place at trade shows in the U.S. that you may already be attending. New exporters are encouraged to watch Module 11 of “Export Essentials Online,” Prepare for Meetings with Buyers, to understand best practices for maximizing participation in their first Buyers Mission.

All events are subject to approval of the USDA Market Access Program funding.
