Connecticut Supplier Gains New Export Market

In June of 2018, Sustainable Indulgence, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in the 4th Congressional District, attended Food Export – Northeast’s Caribbean and Latin American Buyers Mission where they met with buyers from Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guatemala, and Panama.

After gaining interest from the buyer representing El Salvador (by chance, as they did not have a scheduled meeting with him) they began a conversation regarding exporting their bakery products to the country. This February, Sustainable Indulgence was able to report first-time market sale of bakery products worth $3,376 to El Salvador.
