Growing Exports with Food Export's Branded Program

Connoils is a global manufacturer, supplier and distributor of high quality natural, organic and nutritional Internally Stabilized Bulk Oils, Oil Powders, Softgels and Specialty Ingredients. This minority-owned company based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, is on the right path to seeing growth through exports.

In 2017 Connoils utilized Market Access Program (MAP) funds through Food Export’s Branded Program to expand their exports to Singapore, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and South Korea. The Wisconsin Supplier put together a strong marketing plan to penetrate these markets which included trade show attendance, advertising and sample shipping.

This past February, Connoils was able to report new actual sales of their liquid oils of over $1,500,000 in sales to the United Kingdom, Switzerland and South Korea and projected sales of $2M over the next twelve months. More exciting is the addition of new export sales to Singapore, a first-time market sale of $25,000 was also reported by the Wisconsin company.

Connoils LLC has used Food Export programs and services since 2012, utilizing the Branded Program, attending Buyers Missions, educational webinars, and featuring their products in the Online Product Catalog. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service.
