Vermont Supplier Gains Exports to Canada

by Food Export | Jul 12, 2016
Potlicker Kitchen, from Stowe, Vermont, attended Food Export’s Specialty Foods Buyers Mission at the 2015 Summer Fancy Food Show. The event was successful for the Vermont Supplier who gained many new foreign buyer contacts and had $425 in actual sales to South Korea.

In 2009, former archaeologists, Nancy & Walter Warner relocated to Vermont where Nancy’s passion for local & wild food pushed her canning hobby to the next level. Jamming and canning everything in sight, Nancy eventually ran out of fruit & veggies. Turning to the cupboards for inspiration and ingredients, Nancy developed Potlickers’ signature Beer Jelly. In 2011 Nancy went to market where her original Beer Jelly and other unique flavors caught the attention of food lovers and taste makers across the country.

Recognized for excellence, Potlicker jams have received national awards & international attention. Today Nancy & the Potlicker Kitchen crew can up jams, jellies & pickles in Stowe, Vermont and distribute them across the country and now to international markets around the world!
