New Hampshire Company Continues to Find Export Success at Buyers Missions

In 2015, Original Gourmet Food Company, from Salem, New Hampshire, attended three Food Export Buyers Mission where they acquired export sales over $1.5M. These sales helped the New Hampshire supplier increase export sales over 20% in three different international markets.

The most notable success was achieved at Food Export’s Sweets and Snacks Buyers Mission in May at the 2015 Sweets and Snacks Expo where the supplier met with very interested buyers from Chile, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan. Projected sales post event totaled $900,000 to these four markets.

Original Gourmet also attended Food Export’s Northeast Buyers Mission in Boston in January and Specialty Foods Buyers Mission at the 2015 Summer Fancy Food Show in July.

Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
