Popping Export Sales for New Jersey Supplier

by Food Export | Jul 08, 2016
Positioning yourself and your products in front of pre-qualified, experienced international buyers who seek the latest food trends and products from the United States is easy at Food Export’s Northeast Buyers Mission. International American Supermarket Corp. (IAS) from Piscataway, New Jersey knows this as a twelve year attendee to the activity.

This past January International American Supermarket Corp. (IAS) met one-on-one with twenty pre-qualified international buyers. Actual export sales to Turkey, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates for the New Jersey supplier were reported at over $200,000 after the Buyers Mission, noting that these sales mark a first-time export sale to a new market. Projected sales over the next twelve months are estimated at over one million dollars.

Established in 1980, I.A.S. Corp. is a dynamic food export and marketing organization representing a number of major U.S. brands in overseas markets. With a uniquely flexible handling capacity and a product base of over 2,000 products under 50 brands, I.A.S. Corp. caters to the retail, food service and ingredient market segments.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
