Food Export Helpline™ Saves Supplier From Scam

This past June, Christie Peterson, International Development at Kent Precision Foods Group of Saint Louis, Missouri, came in contact with an overseas scam. After believing a buyer from Togo was legitimate and forthright, the two were engaged in conversation for a sale. When the “buyer” started asking for unfamiliar forms to be completed Christie started to question this ‘companies’ intentions. So Christie contacted Dennis Lynch via the Food Export Helpline™ and detailed the story to him and after some investigating they discovered this ‘buyer’ was not legitimate. Kent Precision was happy that they did not invest any more time or lose any money shipping product overseas. Christie thanked Dennis for his investigation and stated, “You are a miracle worker, Dennis – thank you so very much for your assistance!”
