Vegan Worldwide Projects Export Sales to Brazil

by Food Export | Jul 07, 2016
Vegan Worldwide, a specialty food supplier supplies their delicious vegan foods all over the world. They are currently the leader in American Vegan products being exported overseas.

Finding high quality and delicious vegan products can be difficult to do. But Vegan Worldwide has made that much easier, as their products are available in wholesale food distributors, retail grocery stores, restaurant chains, independent health food stores, boutique hotels, and specialty vegan or vegetarian establishments. So if you live a vegan lifestyle, or even if you do not, you will love and enjoy their foods!

In January of 2014, Vegan Worldwide located in New York, New York in the 13th Congressional District, attended Food Export's Northeast Buyer’s Mission where they were able to connect with a buyer from Brazil. While they have not been able to make a sale yet, they were able to meet many different buyers and they are hoping to make a sale soon. Vegan Worldwide has also been a member of the Branded Program since 2013, a program that offers up to 50% reimbursement on international marketing costs.

According to Steven Smith, CEO, “I have participated in Trade Missions to various countries and most recently the Northeast Buyer’s Mission. It was a great experience to meet prospective customers from all over the world. We made great contacts and promising leads. We fully expect many of these prospects to become customers. We are currently in the process of negotiating with a major buyer from Brazil that we met with at the Northeast Buyer’s Mission. We look forward to participating in future trade and buyer missions.”

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
