Upstate Dream Institute Expands Their Sales Goals

by Food Export | Jul 07, 2016
Upstate Dream Institute, LLC was struggling to reach their sales goals with a purely domestic sales strategy. By chance, one of their partners learned about the Branded Program at a trade show, and from there, things really started to take off.

With the support of Branded Program funding, Upstate Dream launched a nation-wide TV ad campaign in December 2014 to promote their Sleep Squares product in Costa Rica. As a result of their marketing campaign, they have achieved $15,000 in export sales in the first half of 2015, with additional sales projected for the remainder of the calendar year.

According to Jeff Luciano, President at Upstate Dream Institute, “These sales figures were made possible by direct involvement in the Branded Program. With the 50% reimbursement provided by the Branded Program, we were able to stretch our allotted advertising budget and get full coverage of the entire country. In addition to Costa Rica, we are planning an expansion to other countries in the region, including  El Salvador, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and Panama, in 2015 and 2016. Without the support of the Branded Program, we would only be able to incorporate one new country at a time, but with the Branded Program, the sky is the limit. We expect sales in the region to continue to jump dramatically over the next few years.”

The Upstate Dream Institute (UDI), located in Spencer, NY, was founded in January 2007 and specializes in the development, marketing, and distribution of natural herbal dietary sleep supplements.
