Color Brands Starts Business In Australia

by Food Export | Jul 07, 2016
In July of 2015, Color Brands, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the 4th Congressional District, attended the Midwest Buyers Mission in Chicago, Illinois where they met one-on-one with a buyer from Australia. After a few weeks of correspondence with the buyer, they made a sale of US$3,000 worth of a variety of snack food products.

Color Brands is hoping this sale is just the beginning of a lasting business relationship. According to Scott Lutz, President of Color Brands, “The Buyers Mission was well organized and easy to prepare for. It’s a great setting to meet, greet, and transact business. The buyers knew what they wanted, were experienced, professional and easy to work with.”

Color Brands is the exclusive international partner of leading American soft drink, snack food and fun food brands.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
