  • Premium Sauces and Spices Reach Canada

    In September 2018, minority-owned Pyramid Foods LLC, located in Shawnee, Kansas, in the 3rd Congressional District, attended Food Export – Midwest’s Focused Trade Mission to Toronto for Specialty and Natural Products where they met a buyer from Canada. In September, they made a first-time market sale of $5,400 and project export sales of $25,000 over the next twelve months.

  • Kansas Company Continues to Create Partnerships

    J & J Group LLC doing business as Rufus Teague out of Shawnee, Kansas, in the 3rd Congressional District, has utilized Food Export - Midwest’s Branded Program to make an impact in Switzerland and Mexico. With the assistance of the program, in 2018 Rufus Teague had continued sales with Switzerland and a first-time market sale to Mexico. In Switzerland and Mexico, they introduced themselves to new buyers and created partnerships to increase their sales. This assisted in securing a sale of $25,000 worth of barbeque sauce and spices to Switzerland and $5,500 in sales to Mexico.

  • Connecticut Supplier Utilizes Branded Program for Export Success to China and Hong Kong

  • New Export Market for Massachusetts Supplier

    For the third year in a row, Polkadog Bakery from Boston, Massachusetts utilized Food Export - Northeast’s Branded Program to increase their export marketing strategies. Using the 50% cost reimbursement program helped the pet treat supplier expand their marketing activities and export sales to new markets while deferring costs of shipping and attending trade shows in the market.

  • Focused Trade Mission Increases Sales for Illinois Supplier

    In March of 2017, Belmont Foods, located in Northbrook, Illinois in the 9th Congressional District, attended Food Export - Midwest’s Focused Trade Mission to Korea for Retail and Food Service Products where they had 15 one-on-one meetings with Korean Buyers. During the mission they also attended a market briefing, trade reception and retail tour.

They made 12 foreign contacts and 1 new agent relationship after utilizing their funding to ship samples, make label modifications and produce/distribute promotional product materials.

    In 2018, SB Global Foods, Inc., located in Hatboro, Pennsylvania in the 13th Congressional District, utilized funding from Food Export - Northeast’s Branded Program to make sales in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines where they made 3 foreign contacts. They made 3 new agent relationships with buyers from each of the three countries.

  • Growing Exports With Market Access Program Funded Branded Program

    Participating in Food Export – Midwest’s Branded Program in 2018 has helped Illinois based Supplier, American Pharmaceutical Innovations Company (AmPharma) gain $300,000 in new export sales to Egypt. In February, the supplier was able to report these new sales and also projected to complete $750,000 in sales over the next twelve months while also making 30 new contacts and gaining 2 new agent relationships.

    In 2018, SONPOWER Industries LLC, located in Ord, Nebraska, in the 3rd Congressional District, attended the Food Export – Midwest’s Midwest Buyers Mission in Kansas City, MO where they met with buyers from Antigua, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates. During these meetings, SONPOWER Industries LLC introduced buyers to their Simply Sunflower Oil.
