More Ways to Expand International Marketing in 2020

With many overseas missions and networking opportunities as a big part of our larger association’s annual activities calendar, you can expand your international marketing by considering any of the options in this post.

The Food Export–Northeast seafood team is gearing up for a busy year and wanted to share details about a few non-seafood specific programs we offer that could be beneficial to your export business. With many overseas missions and networking opportunities as a big part of our larger association’s annual activities calendar, you can expand your international marketing by considering any of the below options:

  1. Add a Trade Mission Abroad: Throughout the year, Food Export hosts multi-day trade missions in various foreign markets. In 2020, missions will take place in the Middle East, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, China, and Australia. These events provide opportunities for suppliers to meet one-on-one with interested buyers they may not have had the chance to connect with at US trade shows. Our In-Market Representatives develop a personalized meeting schedule based on the supplier’s interests and business needs. These missions are a great way to explore a market in a focused way during a short period of time.

  2. Extend Market Reach in a Region:Use your time wisely and visit another country in the market region following a trade mission. Our Rep Finder service ensures you’re getting the best value and taking advantage of every opportunity while you’re away. For example, if you go on a trade mission to Vietnam, we can connect you with another In-Market Representative from Southeast Asia to help you explore other parts of the region and meet one-on-one with a minimum of three buyers.

  3. Get Connected with the Right Opportunity: Not sure which market is the best for you to visit? Food Export–Northeast can help. Take advantage of the numerous services we offer that will help move your business in the right direction. Or simply contact us to discuss which trade show is the best fit for your business needs.
