Anuga Select Brazil, formerly known as ANUFOOD Brazil, is the largest food and beverage fair in the Americas, generating new business for companies of all sizes. In addition to hundreds of national and international brands, Anuga Select Brazil is a leading food and beverage fair and brings together the industry’s largest national and international community.
The Brazilian food industry is well developed and major multinational companies have a consolidated presence in the market, making the sector highly competitive. In terms of price, U.S. products do not compete with domestically produced goods or Mercosul origin products. When a product imported from the United States (and other non-Mercosul members) reaches the Brazilian market, it will most likely fit in the premium price category due to the exchange rate and the applied import tariff
