  • US exports of wood products to Morocco totaled $10.5 million in 2024. 
  • US exports of wood products to Egypt totaled $15.8 million in 2024.  Egypt relies on wood product imports to supplement domestic production, as the country does not have large-scale domestic timber resources.

Egypt imports various types of wood products, primarily to meet the demands of its construction, furniture, and manufacturing industries. The most common types of wood products imported by Egypt include:

Morocco imports various types of wood for construction, furniture manufacturing, and other industries. The main types of wood imported by Morocco include:
