Jens has been a vital part of the mk² team since 2013. As a Chief Operation Officer, Jens is responsible for the growth of the business and the daily operations, working in close cooperation with mk²’s CEO and Founder. Additionally, he manages all trade, marketing, and PR activities for clients including Hop Growers of America, Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, and Food Export USA. Jens has expert knowledge of international trade and customs regulations and is skilled in market research and economic analysis. He lends his expertise across all mk² client accounts.
Jens earned his degree in German Language and Cultural Studies at the Rheinisch Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn, Germany. Prior to joining mk², Jens worked as an editor in the broadcast media industry, gaining experience in market research, creative development, and PR. He is fluent in English and German.
Jens is an enthusiastic foodie and an adventurous traveler, eager to explore foreign cultures and new flavors. Jens has found his calling at mk², combining his work with his love of food and travel.
