International freight forwarders are an integral part of the export process and provide a lot of support, information, expertise, and options for food exporters. They can represent both the supplier and the buyer in any transaction, which can be similar or quite different depending on the size, value, method of shipment, and payment terms. Join us as we review the role and value of this 3rd party intermediary which makes export transactions happen.

Topics include:

  • How freight forwarders can help exporters
  • The difference between food consolidators and freight forwarders
  • What information freight forwarders need from exporters
  • Working with the buyer’s forwarder
  • Important details and logistics about working with forwarders
  • How to locate an appropriate forwarder to meet your needs
  • Q & A with Presenter
