At Food Export, we help U.S. food and agricultural companies expand into global markets. As a Business Development Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in making that happen. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role. You’ll connect with companies, learn about their goals, and guide them toward programs and opportunities that support their growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively identify and connect with companies that can benefit from Food Export programs.
  • Build relationships with new and existing participants and serve as their trusted point of contact.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
  • Help companies develop export plans and connect them with the right programs and resources.
  • Maintain and manage relationships through CRM tools and regular follow-up.
  • Represent Food Export at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure companies receive the support they need.
  • Track outreach, engagement, and participation to support program growth.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in sales, business development, account management, client success, recruiting, or outreach.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence connecting with new people.
  • Relationship-focused mindset with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus if you have experience in food or agriculture, international business, nonprofit programs, CRM systems, or consultative sales environments.
