Buyers Mission Grows Exports for Illinois Supplier

In February, NutriPack, located in Markham, Illinois, in the 2nd Congressional District, attended Food Export – Midwest’s Pet Food Buyers Mission at the 2020 Global Pet Expo where they made an impression on a buyer from Panama.

NutriPack has now gained $50,000 in new export sales to Panama and 1 new foreign contact.

The Illinois Supplier has utilized the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program since 2011. NutriPack has also participated in Food Export Buyers Missions, Focused Trade Missions, Food Show PLUS!™, Webinars, the Online Product Catalog, and the Onboarding Assistance program.

NutriPack is a producer of hand packed gourmet dinners and balanced meals for pets of all life stages, ages, and breeds. Their products include several varieties of dog and cat food and treats, as wells as canned ferret food.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
