Pennsylvania Based Company Enters New Export Market

by Food Export | Apr 11, 2020
Avo Global, a Coatesville Pennsylvania based export management company, represents a product that helps sustain agriculture with an organic fertilizer crop booster called Apex 10.

Avo Global in partnership with their local partner King Global Ventures and the manufacturer JSH International, recently entered the Ghana market and was able to secure a significant initial order to promote the product to the Ghana farming community.

Christine Martey-Ochola, Chief Operating Officer for Avo Global applied for Food Export – Northeast’s Branded Program as a late entrant, in order to support the promotion of APEX 10 in Ghana to national agricultural stakeholders including chiefs and farmers across the country.  Christine mentioned, “With the Branded Program’s assistance, we were able to connect with agricultural extension officers and farmers in Ghana through advertising efforts on social media, website development to facilitate product access and education, and local agricultural seminars.  We were able to train and educate stewards of the land to understand the Apex 10 product.”  The advertising led to farmers in the community attending several events that included training sessions.

As a result of this effort, Christine said, “The company has been able to satisfy pre-orders since December 2019, with an initial order of nearly $50,000 for Apex10, with a projection of 350 to 400 cases ofr product per month on a recurring basis.” This ultimately has the potential to reach nearly 10,000 farmers who will be able to use the APEX10 product on 10,000,000 acres of land. “The Branded Program helped us with advertising, enabling farmers were able to see benefits for their crops and as well as learn”.

Avo Global provides strategic and management consulting services for higher education institutions as well as public health providers. They support sustainable agriculture initiatives, and innovative solutions for water purification, sanitation management, and environmental remediation.  The company is new to the Branded Program and is hoping to continue expanding their exports with assistance from Food Export.
