Food Show PLUS!™ Program: Dairy-Good Experience for New York Company

In 2018, Agri-Dairy Products Inc., headquartered in Purchase, New York of the 17th Congressional District utilized Food Export – Northeast’s Food Show PLUS!™ program at the Food Tech Summit and Expo.

After experiencing tremendous success by taking part in a Focused Trade Mission in Mexico, Agri-Dairy decided to further expand their Mexican sales by exhibiting at the Food Tech Summit in Mexico City. While at the summit, representatives from Agri-Dairy were introduced to qualified buyers, experienced a retail tour and had on-site assistance from the In-Market Representative, all resources provided through Food Export’s Food Show PLUS!™ program.

According to Ana Paula De Luca Almeida, International Sales Director, “Agri-Dairy met several new companies, developed a better understanding of the needs of its customers and substantially increased its operations to that market – in fact we saw a 65% increase in sales from January to July 2019 versus the full year of 2018. Mexico is such an important partner for U.S. dairy products, and we are really looking forward to participating at the same event in September of 2019 again.”

Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
