Utilizing the Market Access Program to Increase Exports

by Food Export | May 28, 2019
Flanders, New Jersey based Aii, Inc. (formerly American Instants, Inc.) is a leading manufacturer of powdered beverages in the United States. In business for over fifty years, they are a manufacturer and blender with the ability to create and package new products per specification. They specialize in private label and are continuously working hard to improve their company and meet the needs of their customers.

In 2018, Aii, Inc. utilized Food Export – Northeast’s Market Access Program (MAP) Branded Program to expand exports of their Frappe Supreme, Cappuccino Supreme and Hot Chocolate Supreme products to the Middle East. Exhibiting at the Gulfood Show in Dubai in February helped the New Jersey Supplier gain 30 new foreign buyer contacts and $65,000 in new export sales.

Aii, Inc. has participated in Food Export programs and services since 2016 by attending Buyers Missions, using Food Show PLUS!™ show services, webinars, and the Online Product Catalog.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
