Continued Export Success for Wisconsin Supplier

by Food Export | Mar 25, 2019
Producing bio-based and recycled products for various applications in the food and animal feed industries is what Edgerton, Wisconsin based New Composite Partners specializes in. Working with Food Export Association of the Midwest since 2011 has helped them increase exports to New Zealand, China, India, Belgium, Canada and most recently Australia and France.

During 2018 New Composite utilized their Market Access Program (MAP) Branded Program funds to reduce marketing costs for activities in Australia and France. Their allocated funding was used to advertise, ship samples, produce promotional literature and promote their biobased, renewable materials. Their marketing strategies were very successful as they gained over 30 new foreign contacts, established 8 new agent relationships and earned $900,000 in export sales to Australia and over $70,000 to France as reported this February by company CEO, Ron Hagemann.

New Composite has worked with Food Export for eight years and utilizes the Branded Program along with participating in various Buyers Missions and is part of the Online Product Catalog.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
