Market Access Program Funded Branded Program Contributes to Ohio Company's Success in Canada

In June 2017, John Zidian Co, Inc, from Youngstown, Ohio, in the 13th Congressional District, took advantage of the Food Export’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program to continue its strong market promotion in Canada. The Ohio based company used the Branded Program to assist with label changes that would meet Canadian food regulations, in-store promotions, and advertising, among other promotions.

This year [2018], John Zidian Company is continuing to use the Branded Program to support their marketing events with the hopes of increasing their brand recognition across Canada and other countries.

John Zidian Co. is thrilled to have the support of Food Export’s Market Access Program funded services and will continue to use the support that is offered by the Food Export organization through their educational programs and their market activities, such as Buyers Missions.

As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
