Maintaining Export Growth With the Branded Program

by Food Export | May 14, 2018
Utilization of the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Food Export Branded Program has helped Wisconsin based Muldoon Dairy expand exports for the past seven years. The program has assisted the supplier to grow their exports by 75% over the course of their Branded Program utilization.

Most recently in 2017 Muldoon Dairy focused on expanding their market share in Vietnam, a market that they have seen growth in for the past four years. Using their allocated funds to exhibit at the Food & Hotel Show in Vietnam in April and showcase their mozzarella sticks, shredded cheese and string cheese proved to be a great choice for market expansion as they were able to report this past December export sales of $2,000,000 to Vietnam.

Muldoon Dairy Inc. is located in the heart of America’s Dairyland, Wisconsin. Yearly the State of Wisconsin produces more dairy products than any other State in the U.S. or any other country in the world. Muldoon prides itself in providing the highest quality dairy products to its customers throughout the world. With over 30 years of experience in the dairy industry at the manufacturing, marketing and sales level Muldoon is able to provide virtually any dairy product needed for wholesale, food service, and retail markets.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
