Focused Trade Mission to Toronto Leads to New Success in Canada

In 2017, Cleveland Kraut, from Cleveland, Ohio, participated in Food Export’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Focused Trade Mission to Toronto for Specialty and Natural Products. Through their participation in this mission Cleveland Kraut found a broker for their products for the Canadian market.

For 2018, Cleveland Kraut is utilizing the Branded Program to boost their sales and brand recognition in the Canadian market.

Cleveland Kraut is thrilled to have the support of Food Export’s Market Access Program funded services and they project to continue to use the support that is offered by the Food Export organization through their market activities, such as Focused Trade Missions and Buyers Missions.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service.
