Couscous Exported to the UK Through Branded Program

In 2017, US Durum Products, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the 16th Congressional District, utilized Food Export’s Branded Program where they made a sale of couscous worth more than $30,000 USD to a buyer from the United Kingdom.

US Durum is a manufacturer of couscous in the natural food products industry. US Durum is actually the largest couscous manufacturing company here in North America. Their business incorporates strong traditions of hard work to create a quality product. US Durum’s couscous is GMO-free, premium quality, kosher, and can be ordered in organic and conventional. The company started in 1993 with an annual capacity of 40,000,000 pounds of couscous. In 2015, US Durum started manufacturing Toasted Pearl Couscous in the United States. They started manufacturing Toasted Pearl with an annual capacity of 20,000,000 pounds.  

US Durum and Food Export have worked together since 2016, and in that time US Durum has utilized our Branded Program, Online Product Catalog, seminars, Buyers Missions and Focused Trade Missions. Every year since 2016, US Durum has reported multiple international export sales through one of Food Export’s services.
US Durum prides itself by providing couscous made with the best Durum wheat in the world, and by constantly bringing innovative products to the market.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
