Kansas Company Increases Barbeque Products Sales to Europe

J & J Group LLC doing business as Rufus Teague out of Shawnee, Kansas, in the 3rd Congressional District, has utilized Food Export’s Branded Program to make an impact in Switzerland. With the assistance of the program, in 2017 Rufus Teague had the largest amount of sales in Switzerland than they ever have before.

While in Switzerland they established a new distributor, and introduced themselves to new buyers. This assisted in securing a sale of $200,000 worth of barbeque sauce and spices to Switzerland.

Rufus Teague shared that the Branded Program has “Been an absolute asset to growing our international business”. Switzerland hasn’t been the only country that Rufus Teague products has entered thanks to the Branded Program. This program has assisted them in securing sales in New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Canada. This year they are looking to expand their markets to Mexico and Australia as well as strengthen their connections in Switzerland.
