Increased Exports to Australia for Wisconsin Supplier

by Food Export | Mar 20, 2018
New Composite Partners’ first introduction in the Australian market was in 2012 with utilization of Food Export’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program and has provided a solid foundation and opportunity for continued growth of marketing endeavors. Based on market response, the market has provided the Wisconsin based Supplier a great base and opportunity for continued expansion of product sales in that country.

Utilizing allocated funds in 2017 to advertise, attend trade shows, modify labels/packaging and produce literature helped New Composite expand their market share gaining over $800,000 in new export sales to Australia, France, Belgium and Canada along with 20 new foreign buyer contacts and 4 new agent relationships.

New Composite Partners is a producer of bio-based and recycled products (mostly made from corn and soybean) for various applications in the food and animal feed industries. They have participated in Food Export programs since 2011 utilizing the Branded Program, the Online Product Catalog and attending Buyers Missions.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
