Market Access Program Helps Ohio Supplier Gain Export Sales

by Food Export | Mar 19, 2018
In 2017, East-West International Group, from Moreland Hills, Ohio, participated in Food Export’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program. The Branded Program that provides 50% cost reimbursement for a wide variety of international marketing activities helped the Ohio Supplier gain $20,000 in new export sales to Vietnam.

These new export sales of the companies corn ships, dips, spreads, and fruit snacks were earned while utilizing Branded Program funding to attend international trade shows and promote the U.S. made products. The strong marketing plan and promotion of product also enabled East-West International Group to be able to project $100,000 more in sales to Vietnam over the next twelve months.

East-West International Group is an export management company for a multitude of packaged food and beverage product brands. They have participated in Food Export programs and activities since 2000 attending Buyers Missions, and Focused Trade Missions and utilizing Food Show PLUS!™ tradeshow services.
