Natural Products Mission Expands Exports for Massachusetts Supplier

by Food Export | Dec 14, 2017
Attending Food Export’s Natural Products Buyers Mission at the 2016 Natural Products Expo East was an easy decision for Ginseng Up as they have attended the mission for two previous consecutive years. Knowing that the mission brings pre-qualified international buyers for the pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings helps the Worcester, Massachusetts supplier generate new sales leads and build relationships with key industry players.

After meeting with buyers at the mission last year Ginseng Up made a connection with the buyer from Cayman who was very interested in natural, premium ginseng packed beverages. This past March Ginseng Up was able to report actual new sales to the Cayman Buyer for $10,000 and they also project $30,000 in additional sales over the next twelve months.

Ginseng Up is a producer of specialty beverages in the retail, convenience stores, and wholesale markets. Started in 1981, Ginseng up started crafting a soda packed with premium ginseng. The company has since innovated to offer a full line of all natural sodas and drinks, made without preservatives or high fructose corn syrup.
