Branded Program Creates Sustained Success for Woeber's Mustard

by Food Export | Dec 14, 2017
Woeber Mustard Company, headquartered in Springfield, Ohio, started producing specialty mustards in 1905 and has been working with Food Export since 2002. Through the Branded Program, the company has taken its marketing international with displays, advertising, wrapping trucks and country-specific label designs.

In 2016 the Ohio Supplier focused on increasing their exports to Saudi Arabia. While already doing well in the market, they wanted to expand and continue their growth. After creating a plan to increase brand recognition in the market, they applied for Market Access Program funding through Food Export’s Branded Program. The funding would help defer costs for promotional displays in supermarkets in Saudi Arabia and help gain brand awareness and product interest.

Incorporating their marketing strategy along with their Branded Program funding was a great plan, as the supplier was able to report a 20% increase in sales to the market this past February.

Woeber Mustard Company has not only been a part of the Branded Program since 2002, but has also attended numerous Buyers Missions and utilized the Food Export HelplineTM. These resources have connected Woeber Mustard Company to new countries, partners and most importantly, sales.

Woeber Mustard Company is a producer of fancy mustards, horseradish, sauces and vinegars for retail distribution. Product flavors range from Supreme Organic Spicy Brown Mustard, Southwest Horseradish, Kickin’ Buffalo Mayonnaise to Supreme Wasabi Mustard.                valuepak-Mustard-16oz
