Branded Program Creates New Opportunities for King Preferred Inc.

by Food Export | Dec 14, 2017
In August 2017, King Preferred Inc., located in Elkhart, Indiana, contracted into the Branded Program for the first time since 2003. King Preferred has been restricted in the past from utilizing the Branded Program due to the "three-year rule”, which disqualified companies from receiving Branded Program support at eligible U.S. tradeshows in which they previously exhibited without Branded Program funds in the last three years.

King Preferred was able to showcase at Kosher Fest in November 2017 with the assistance of the Branded Program. King Preferred was also the only Minority Black Kosher certified business at the show.

In addition to the Branded Program, King Preferred is listed in the Food Export’s Online Product Catalog and is looking forward to participating in the Northeast Buyers Mission this winter.

King Preferred Inc., a women and minority owned business specializing in kosher certified cakes mixes.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
