Michigan Company Exports to Canada

In February of 2017, Safie Specialty Foods Company, located in Chesterfield, Michigan in the 10th Congressional District, attended the Focused Trade Mission to Vancouver for Specialty, Natural, and Private Label Products where they had one-on-one meetings with qualified buyers from the Canadian Market. During the event, they made a sale of their pickled products worth $25,000.

They also reported they are projecting $30,000 worth of export sales due to their participation in the trade mission. On their evaluation they noted that their sales from the event represented a twenty percent increase in their export sales to the market. Safie Specialty Foods Company has been an active participant in Food Export’s Focused Trade Missions, Food Show Plus! Events, Buyers Missions, Online Product Catalog, Webinars and Seminars since 2015.

Safie Specialty Foods Company is a producer of pickled products in the condiments market segment for over 85 years. With continual support from its customers, Safie’s Safiestate-of-the-art packing facility is still located in Chesterfield Township, Michigan.
