Export Market for Michigan Supplier

North Bay Produce from Traverse City, Michigan utilized Food Export’s Branded Program funding in 2016 to introduce their blueberries and apples to Japan. Taking advantage of the 50% reimbursement through the Market Access Program funded Branded Program helped North Bay make over 77 new contacts in Japan and form 10 new agent relationships.

These contacts were what gained $100,000 in actual sales for North Bay to Japan which also notes a first-time sale to the market. North Bay Produce
