International Success for Ingredients Company from Kansas

In October 2016, Cereal Ingredients, located in Leavenworth, Kansas, in the 2nd Congressional District, attended Food Export’s Bakery Ingredients Buyers Missions at the 2016 International Baking Industry Exposition, where they met with pre-qualified international buyers from several different markets, including Brazil, Taiwan, India, China, Vietnam, and South Korea. During their time at the Buyers Mission they reported $150,000 in actual sales. As a result of making 15 new foreign contacts, they are projecting to have an additional $250,000 in sales

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
