Nature's Logic Utilizes Tradeshows to Expand Globally

by Food Export | Jun 22, 2017
Nature’s Logic, a Lincoln, Nebraska based business in Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District has been in the business of providing the highest quality pet food products made entirely from whole foods since its founding in 2005. Nature’s Logic was the first pet food of its kind to offer entirely natural pet food solutions, with no chemically synthesized supplementation like many other products on the market. Our pets are family, and they deserve only the highest quality nutrition. Although Nature’s Logic is a relatively young business, being established for only 12 years, they have developed a brand with a global impact. Nature’s Logic exports their products to five countries, sources their ingredients from seven U.S. states, and has manufacturing facilities in three Midwestern states.

Nature’s Logic produces out of four manufacturing plants, all of which are registered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. The kibble plants in Bern, Kansas and Pawnee City, Nebraska are NSF Food Safety Certified, and the canned food plant in Emporia, Kansas is certified for the Global Standard for Food Safety. All production facilities are AIB Certified and several are EU (European Union) Certified. Through only sourcing the highest quality ingredients and ensuring food safety, Nature’s Logic has been able to gain certifications which position them to strategically enter the global pet food market.
Nature's Logic
Nature’s Logic is a first year member of Food Export, but has already seen great benefits from the utilization of Market Access Program (MAP) funds. Nature’s Logic has used these funds to aid in entering foreign markets through attendance at a variety of tradeshows. Through these programs, representatives have established more than six new industry contacts, leading to a direct sale of nearly $200,000. By the end of fiscal year 2017, it is estimated that Nature’s Logic will secure about $230,000 of new sales to both Taiwan and Canada. Food Export MAP funds have allowed Nature’s Logic to attend international trade shows – resulting in a noticeable increase in total sales. In the coming years, it is expected that Nature’s Logic will utilize these funds to further promote their USA product, ultimately equating to a greater presence in the global pet food market.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
