Buyers Mission Connects Bucks County, PA with Central America

Agostino Foods, located in Bristol, PA, in the 8th Congressional District, first attended the 2015 Caribbean & Central American Buyers Mission for Retail & Food Service Products, also attended again in 2016. They made connections with buyers from Barbados, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Jamaica, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. As a result, Agostino Foods’ first year export sales were projected at $350,000 through these connections. In 2017, they are projected to do $1,000,000.00 in export sales.

Agostino Foods has over 90 years of experience in the food market and excels in frozen packaging of their products. Agostino Foods offers four different brands to supplement Agostino Foodstheir Wholesale Food Service, which caters to companies who distribute straight to the customer. Offering meats, vegetables, pastas, desserts, and much more, the consumer can find everything they need for a complete meal with Agostino Foods.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports
