Branded Program Helps Michigan Supplier Bark Up New Export Sales

by Food Export | Mar 09, 2017
The Branded Program has played an essential part in helping Fido Enterprises Inc. expand and succeed in the international export arena. In 2016 Food Export’s Branded Program provided funding for advertising and international trade show exhibition to Fido Enterprises. This campaign resulted in new actual sales over $20,000 to Germany for the Harrison Township, Michigan based company.

Helping defray the costs that would be a complete burden on the Supplier was subsidized by the Market Access Program funded Branded Program. The program provided 50% reimbursement for approved expenses of the Michigan supplier to increase exports internationally.

As these exports increase these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
