Twelve Foreign Contacts Made with Help of Food Show Plus!™

In May 2016, Knouse Foods, Inc., located in Peach Glen, Pennsylvania, in the 4th Congressional District, attended Seoul Food & Hotel Korea where they used Food Export’s Food Show Plus!™ services to make 12 new foreign buyer contacts.


With the help of Food Show Plus!TM at Seoul Food & Hotel Korea, Knouse Foods, Inc. gained five new agent relationships with sales amounting to $75,000. This was Knouse Foods, Inc.’s first time to sell in this market.

Knouse Foods, Inc. is a grower owned cooperative which operates six fruit product processing plants throughout Pennsylvania and Michigan. In 1949, Knouse Foods, Inc. started operations with fruit growers from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. To this day, the cooperative includes growers from the Appalachian Mountains and the Midwest. Knouse Foods, Inc. participates in the retail, foodservice, co-packing, and ingredient market segments. Musselmans and Lucky Leaf are just two of the brands Knouse Foods, Inc. oversees.

Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
