Located in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, Oskri Inc. is a supplier and manufacturer of natural fruit products that include snack bars, fruit bar, granolas, crunches and dried fruit. It was founded in 1999 and offers vegetarian, dairy free, and gluten free options through distribution, wholesale and website channels.

Oskri has utilized Food Export’s programs and services since 2000 and have been a long time participant in their Market Access Program funded Branded Program. The Branded Program helps defer costs of exhibiting at tradeshows and overseas marketing for the Wisconsin supplier.

OskriIn 2015 Oskri used their allocated funds to focus on marketing in United Arab Emirates. When the supplier realized there was growing interest in their products while attending a 2011 tradeshow they decided to create a marketing plan concentrating on this international export market.

With an impressive 20% increase in sales to the market during 2015, Oskri was able to report new actual sales to the United Arab Emirates of $150,000 and project $300,000 more during the next year.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
