Branded Program Helps Increase Philadelphia Supplier with Exports to Canada

In 2016, minority owned, Canada Enterprises LLC, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, participated in Food Export’s Branded Program. The Branded Program, funded by the Market Access Program through the USDA Foreign Agriculture Service, provides qualified companies with 50% cost reimbursement for approved international marketing activities. For Canada Enterprises they planned to utilize their funds to promote their products internationally with advertising and attending trade shows.

As a result of the support the Branded Program has provided to Canada Enterprises, the supplier was able to significantly increase direct to consumer sales and build brand recognition in Canada. According to Reuben Canada, Founder, actual sales to date in 2016 have reached $344,000 and are expected to grow to $500,000 in 2017. CanadaEnterprises
