Branded Program Helps Island Oasis Expand Export Success

by Food Export | Oct 20, 2016
Established in 1984, Island Oasis Frozen Cocktail Co Inc. revolutionized the frozen drink market by introducing the first all-natural strawberry daiquiri mix and today, it continues to produce premium-choice, dynamic products from top-grade ingredients.

Island Oasis Frozen Cocktail is an industry-leader in over 25 countries and has the highest food quality certifications in the industry. This family-owned business not only produces its own vibrant product line, but it also provides proprietary drink blends.

With the help of Food Export’s Branded Program, Island Oasis Frozen Cocktail, located in Walpole, MA, in the 8th Congressional District, was able to further develop their market presence and build brand recognition in Costa Rica, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. Consequently, Island Oasis Frozen Cocktail’s increased production and increased purchases of bulk goods.

According to Kris Hahn, Director of International Sales, “Food Export has been very helpful in providing market resources so we can access markets we may otherwise not have been able to.”

Island Oasis Frozen Cocktail is a member of the Branded Program and OLS_Bucket_drink_mixes_3_has participated in various Food Export services and programs since 2008, including buyers’ mission, the export advisor program, Food Show PLUS!, the online product catalog, market builder, and the helpline.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
