Missouri Supplier Increases Exports to the Czech Republic

by Food Export | Sep 13, 2016
Diamond Pet Foods International/Schell & Kampeter Inc., from the 3rd Congressional District has utilized the Food Export Branded Program since 2004. Taking advantage of the 50% reimbursement through the Branded Program to establish a new distributor relationship in the Czech Republic was part of the marketing strategy for this Missouri pet food supplier in 2015.

With the pet food market growing significantly over the last couple of years, finding a new distributor was significant to increase the potential sales volume in the Czech Republic for Diamond Pet Foods. With a strong plan that included advertising in the international market, attending a Prague tradeshow and producing marketing literature the Missouri supplier had a good plan in place to grow their export sales to the Czech Republic.

This past January Diamond Pet Foods International was able to report that with the help of the Branded Program they were able to increase sales to the Czech Republic by over $550,000 and project to increase sales 50% more over the next twelve months.
