Minnesota Supplier Gains Exports to Vietnam

This past January, Midwest Ag Enterprises, located in Marshall, Minnesota, in the 7th Congressional District, attended Food Export’s Value-Added Feed Ingredients Buyers Mission at the 2016 International Production & Processing Expo. At the mission they met with international buyers interested in their animal feed ingredients and discussed possible export opportunities for their supplements and livestock feeds.

Post event the Minnesota supplier was able to report that they earned $100,000 in new export sales to Vietnam. According to Jim Moline, President of Midwest Ag Enterprises, “We met very high quality buyers at the Buyers Mission.  I was happy to report our success that transpired after our meetings and look forward to participating in Food Export’s programs and services in the future.”

Midwest Ag Enterprises is a distributor of Animal Feed Ingredients in the Animal Feed market. This privately held company established in 2002, is an exporter of high quality feed ingredients to end-user customers in the Pacific-rim and China.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
