Vermont Supplier Gains New Export Sales in Dubai

by Food Export | Sep 07, 2016
In January 2016, Agri-Mark, Inc./Cabot Creamery Coop., from Waitsfield, Vermont, attended the Gulfood Show in Dubai, UAE where they utilized Food Export’s Food Show PLUS!™ services.

These services helped the Vermont dairy supplier make 64 new foreign buyer contacts, 3 new agent relationships, and complete a sale of $500,000.

Utilizing Food Export services since 2001, Agri-Mark, Inc. still finds the activities and services available beneficial to their export success. Participating in Buyers Missions, using Food Show PLUS!™ services at international trade shows, and displaying products in the Online Product Catalog helps the Vermont supplier expand their export portfolio.

Agri-Mark is a Dairy Farmer Cooperative that markets its Members' Milk in many innovative ways. The Agri-Mark dairy cooperative is one of the largest suppliers of farm fresh milk in New England, marketing more than 300 million gallons of farm fresh milk each year for 1,200 of the region's dairy farm families. Agri-Mark serves members whose farms are located in all six New England states and New York State.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
