Indiana Supplier Expands Exports With Food Export's Branded Program & Food Show PLUS!™ Services

by Food Export | Aug 17, 2016
Vesta Ingredients, a dietary supplement and food additive supplier from Indianapolis, Indiana utilized Food Export Branded Program funds in 2015 to build their export business to Brazil and Peru.

Using part of their allocated funding to attend/exhibit at Vitafoods South America helped the company expand exports to Brazil and Peru. They were able to establish a distributor in the region and have achieved initial export sales of $100,000 in Peru and $100,000 in Brazil.  They expect this relationship to develop into additional sales of their ingredients in the future.

Vesta Ingredients was founded in 1996 with the mission to deliver the highest-quality nutritional and nutraceutical ingredients at an unsurpassed value. While Vesta has grown into a premier cGMP and FDA registered full-service provider of nutritional supplements and nutraceuticals, they continue to apply their founding values in every facet of their business.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
