Herr Foods Finds Export Success at Private Label Buyers Mission

by Food Export | Jul 29, 2016
In November 2015, Herr Foods of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, in the 16th Congressional District, attended Food Export’s Private Label Buyers Mission in Philadelphia, PA. At the event, Herr’s met with various foreign buyers and organizations, including a representative of Mega Mart, one of South Korea’s largest retail companies.

Don Lyle, Director of International Sales for Herr’s, continued communicating with the contact he made at the buyers mission. After checking on proper documentation, ingredient listings, and negotiating with Mega Mart, Herr’s shipped an order for approximately $25,000 worth of snack food products in April 2016. Don also mentioned that he and his staff relied on past work with and information learned via the Food Export Helpline™ service to help fulfill this purchase order.
