Success From Food Export's Sweets & Snacks Buyers Mission

Stonehedge Farms, located in Dover, Pennsylvania, from the 4th Congressional District, found major success from the Sweets and Snacks Buyers Mission at the 2015 Sweets and Snacks Expo. The event which took place in May of 2015 created over $51,000 in sales for the company. In addition to the increase in sales, the company was able to enter two new markets.

For over twenty years, Stonehedge Farms has been able to provide customers with gourmet popcorn coming in flavors like butter toffee, chocolate drizzle, and caramel.  Packaging for the popcorn can come in cylinders, tubs, or flexible packaging.  By focusing on providing excellent service and quality Stonehedge Farms distributes ready-to-eat popcorn throughout the world. 
Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
