Expanding Export Markets With Food Export Buyers Mission

In June of 2015, American Food Service, Inc, from Boonville, New York, located in the 21st Congressional District, attended the Caribbean & Central American Buyers Mission for Retail and Food Service Products in Miami, Florida.

At the Food Export Buyers Mission the New York Company was able to earn over $11,000 in sales to Antigua, in addition, they were able to create 8 new agent relationships. 

American Food Service, Inc. focuses on exporting American goods into foreign markets.  Currently, the company has been able to export all across Europe, as well as other markets such as Asia, Indonesia, and South America.  The company has a wide array of products that they update constantly in order to meet the demand of the market.

Food Export
uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
